All of you have been wondering where the Shine Doc has been.  Well he has accepted a new opportunity and will unfortunately be leaving Adams. 
 
It's going to be hard to not see Dylan around here sharing his knowledge or sporting the Adams brand.  He exposed us all to a wide array of great products.  I mean who can forget about Soap Soap. 
 
Seeing him come back home to Adams was a great thing.  It was a real pleasure seeing the new comers come to the forum and have him as a voice to answer questions.  His knowledge will be missed.   
 
His detailing buddies would like to send him off and wish him the best on his next adventure.  Be on the look out where he lands next. 
 
The next Shine Doc has a some big shoes to fill or is it a bigfoot.

SVRT is one product that I do not like in the Adams lineup and it needs a significant overhaul.  There are much better products out there for the intended uses of protecting your tires and trim without it running like mad.

I do shows in the East for Adam throughout the summer. I've too have noticed/experienced the BG leaks from the new style red pump tops, especially if the temps are high out. The tube and product work almost like a thermometer, with the product continually rising in the pick up tube to leak out the top. What I've done is a pump onto my applicator and then close the top.
 
Just threw a coat of BG on my GTO earlier this week in prep for a show this coming Saturday, stuff is awesome!

All of my clay from Adams has been falling apart.  I've since gone elsewhere for clay that doesn't fall apart when it's over 80 degrees outside.

Every single piece of clay that I have received has been extremely sticky and will "lint" on the paint no matter how much or how little DS, diluted Rinseless or WW was used.  I do nearly all of my work when it's over 60 degrees out.  Needless to say this summer has been frustrating to say the least any time I used Adams clay.  I've since gone elsewhere.

Yeah... how dare you own a wagon.  I mean, every wagon is complete rubbish...

Being you are asking this on Adam's forum the only answer you will get is Adam's products. 

I can not thank the entire Thompson family as well as Adam for their generosity and making everyone feel like family.  This event is not to be missed in any capacity no matter the weather conditions!  I didn't get to walk the lot too much since I was trying to help out where I could but there was a great variety of awesome rides there all day long.  If you have it, bring it!
 
It was great getting to see everyone again this year, meet some new faces and catching up.  Can't wait for the next one!  You know I'll be there with my better half!

So I gave I up 2000 Firehawk Trans Am (sold in less then 24hrs) and my 2007 Trailblazer SS ( sold in less than a week but still awaiting transport). Once these were 100% sold I went on the hunt for my next dream car. I decided to go all out and stretch my wallet for this one after giving up 2 of my favorites.
 
It's a 2014 Cadillac Black Raven CTS V Sport Wagon. M6 with Recaro Seats, optional black grill and panoramic sun roof. After a long search for the perfect V with the right options we found this one in Maryland. i signed all the papers and we're waiting for transport.
 
I can't wait to get it home and give here the full treatment. Here are some dealer photo's.
 

Make sure to get the rpms up to clean out the middle pipe!  They are amazing machines! 
 
My old man drives his Spyder every weekend when the weather is nice.  He ordered a Speciale, should be in Aug/Sep, can't wait!

I'll echo this.  The MSS or LPS or even QS was developed to Last.  No need to strip and re-apply unless it's degraded to a point where you are not getting any tight beading, or there is some latency there.    If you applied MSS or LPS or QS 2x a year, and touched it up with Buttery Wax every two months...I see that as being right about right.

I prefer the new Blues over the new Silvers.  I don't know if or any of them will stick around.  I would love the see the Blue towels.  LOVE those more than Single Softs.

Chewy is upgrading, I'm not.  At least not any time soon unfortunately.  The Vagon is on the wish list and will be for a while unless someone wants to buy my junker G8.
