Tim got a reaction from Texas Moe in Wash before use?
I prefer to give my coffee mugs a good strip wash using Dawn after every use. Since they already have a ceramic coating on them, I skip the LSP.
*technically, that would make water the LSP, right?

Tim got a reaction from GeorgeH in My wax/sealant question
George. Shine is from great paint - the prep work makes it.
There are plenty of outstanding videos here to help, but in general terms:
Wash
Clay
Polish
Protect.
There are going to be tons of ways to vary that like sealant then wax, maybe toss in glaze. You will learn what you like and do that.

Tim got a reaction from PT3 in Black paint...let it swirl...?
I know I get your point, my Vette is black and it gets some kind of wash (2 bucket, rinse less or waterless) every time I drive it. I can't imagine trying to take care of a daily like that!

With a good wash technique you shouldn't need to worry about it. If you are going to insist on a daily driver being perfect and it is black, well, I think I can refer you to a mental health provider!

Tim got a reaction from tonymix17 in Need a better understanding
With the liquid paint sealant you put on a layer thinner than you can imagine, one or two panels at a time (probably just one if by hand as that takes longer) and wipe it off. There is really no buffing involved, it comes off really easily.

Tim got a reaction from pirahnah3 in New here - which products?
I'm with Beemer on the foam cannon/pressure washer. Heck, I'd skip the foam gun also (I have one and rarely use it). If you call, they will walk you through everything, probably customize a kit for your needs.

Tim got a reaction from Chris@Adams in Help With VRT
I usually apply, let it sit a while and then knock it down with a towel. I feel like that makes sure I don't have too much on there.

Send her over to our house. She will then see how normal that is and believe you send her to see a crazy person.

We should thank omegaman1978 for teeing up this thread.
By the way, is that your daily, ahem, driver?

Tim got a reaction from Werne1nm in My first PC
Polish away on the black area below the windows, just not on the trim between the Windows. You can skip the sidekick drying after the strip wash and go straight to the beer.
(I had a 2013 Volt and now have a 2015, so I do know the area you are asking about)

Tim got a reaction from LFairbanks in Need some guidance..
I wouldn't give up my PC. I now use it as a 4 inch setup. Too valuable to get rid of, and really, the vibration isn't bad. Great machine to start with.

You can't beat those sticker reviews with a stick! I'm a stickler for details and some of those reviews will certainly stick with me.
