SSilver07 got a reaction from Dan@Adams in Adam's Toys For Tots Detail Clinic at HQ - DEC 10TH 9:30AM
I'll be there!

SSilver07 reacted to mc2hill in Correct amount of H20 G&G?
That does seem like too much.
I switched to a Tolco sprayer (see the Adam's premium bottle) and it gives a finer spray pattern and less product used.

SSilver07 reacted to Rich in Oxi boost for washing MF towels?
As long as whatever detergent you're using is a liquid or disolvable pod, then you're good. You don't want to use powder detergents because they don't always dissolve and can get caught in the fibers and scratch the paint. I usually do my towel with a good soak and wash with the Revitalizer, then a regular machine wash with Tide liquid. So far........so good.

Now my wife wouldn't be able to handle the mint smell. She's highly allergic to mint and mint smells. So I guess the whole point of this thread is that no one thing is right for everyone. I like the original Detail Spray and not the Pumpkin. Everyone is different. Adam does a good job switching it up now and then.

SSilver07 reacted to Dan@Adams in Adams needs better holiday discounts!!
If we offered a 50% off sale, then we would be out of business and you wouldn't have any of our great products to use

SSilver07 got a reaction from PostalTwo in what are you looking to get on Black Friday from Adams?
As much stuff as I can ! But I really want a blaster sidekick.

SSilver07 reacted to csikx in Is there a consensus on the best pressure washer for Adam's Foam cannon?
There isn't going to be a "best" pressure washer. That's like asking what car does Adam's products work on best. Anything inside the recommended range will work just fine. With that said, a large amount of at home detailers use the Greenworks 1600 pressure washer from Lowe's. It's $99 and can be had on sale for $89 or $79. I hope this helps.

I've been using it around the house. I threw the febreze away... lol I like it. I'd definitely buy a gallon.

SSilver07 got a reaction from SumBeach35 in What did you do today?
I finally used the brilliant glaze today and WOW! two bucket with soap, fresh coat of H20 and brilliant glaze. that brought out the depth and gloss! Pictures do not do justice. I was going to add a coat of patriot wax but It started getting really windy and ran out of sun. I will take more pictures tomorrow.

SSilver07 reacted to Ricky Bobby in Timeframe for Keeping Rinseless Bottled
The pre treat is good to store since it has more polymer to keep the solution stable. At 1/2 oz per gallon rinseless dilution it is meant for washing and not long term storage because there isn't enough polymer in it to "keep" as its 98% water.

SSilver07 got a reaction from buffalobob920 in Waterless Wash ?
Yea it's a little confusing. I just used the rinse less for the first time the other day. I was amazed by the results. I was going to use just the WW but ended up pulling a lot of dirt on my first swipe.

SSilver07 got a reaction from buffalobob920 in Waterless Wash ?
So the new waterless wash is basically a spray on rinse less? and the Waterless cleans better because It doesn't have shine enhancers like the rinse less?
-
SSilver07 reacted to Beemer in Waterless Wash ?
I would characterize them this way:
Rinseless is designed to be used with a bucket and soaked towels to clean a lightly soiled car. It can also be used at a heavier dilution as a spray-on cleaner like Waterless. It works great for this. However, I think Waterless works better.
I keep 1/16 Rinseless available and use it mostly as a presoak for Rinseless washing with soaked towels.
I know it's confusing that the products are so similar. The best thing you can do is get them both and work out your own technique.

While we're on the subject, what is the difference between diluted Rinseless (16:1) and RTU Waterless?

SSilver07 reacted to Mariner in Mystery Box With A Twist!
Some people seem to be making this way too complicated lol. I honestly like the way it is now. Most of us are hardcore Adam's collectors anyways and have everything; We just do it for the thrill. I don't even know if it needs a twist.
