As Nathan said, I pull the car into the garage and use the blower on the entire car. Then I will wipe up any leftover runs from a mirror or badge.

Imo the full size machine is your best upgrade atm. Keep the pc for 4" pads

I suggest you use enough product to "prime" the pad so the polish is worked into every millimeter of the pad. This ensures maximum coverage of the product and maximum efficiency because every bit of the pad is working the polish against the paint.

The dot method of applying polish is okay, but you'll get results faster by priming the entire pad.

Not exactly. I prime my pads and can do a few panels before the pad starts to get too much polish. I also have a MF towel I use after every couple of passes to clean the pad out some. That will help it from clogging as fast.

Just hold the polisher in place with a little forward pressure, no need to mash into the panel.

I'm also wondering if maybe the scratches and/or swirls weren't seen after polishing due to a lighting issue. I know I've had vehicles that looks great in the garage or the shade with a light then I pull them in the sun and find some more damage to correct. Perhaps the car was polished and then sealed before it was brought into the sun?

I second that the .ca site needs to be updated. And agree with contacting Dexter when wanting new products is a pain. Hope they get it fixed and maybe upgrade it with new products quicker.

Yep. And you can find just as many posts on the internet that say "UPS sucks! Use FedEx!"

I think it's pretty amazing that I can order several quality products from a great company and have it delivered to my door without ever having to get off the couch or talk to a soul and not pay a dime for shipping even though the package may weigh dozens of lbs and come completely across the country in bad weather and all I have to do is plan ahead a bit to make sure I give it enough time to arrive before I need it.

    But I'm funny that way.

I never wax my DD. I just use Paint Sealant and HGG and that's plenty of shine and protection. Wax isn't necessary by any means.

When I use the Cyclo, I do the hand work by taking a 4" pad off the Cyclo and attaching a hand grip to the pad. Works great!

I love my cyclo . It certainly get the job done . FYI the cyclo is a long throw polisher at 16mm . It was long throw before long throw was even mainstream . The cyclo may not be the most powerful but for your uses it will be perfect and it's easily the smoothist polisher out there . If u wanna have just one polisher imo it the best

U will know when u start to Polish on it. Soft clear corrects easily but sometimes doesn't finish nice without a fine polish and pad. Hard clears are harder to correct but can sometimes be 1 stepped even with a fairly aggressive compound and still finish well
