Amazing ...I initially joined Adam's Forum around 15 to 20 years ago.(had different email address which is why membership doesn't reflect this). However, at that time persons were discussing the "lint" effect. The saga continues.
P S..... I am still a happy user of Adams products

Got my lint off. Sparkles gone to. Used Adams glass boost and glass cloths. Bought some Graphene as well for detailing the body. Wow wow what a product. Wind need to ceramic the car with this stuff on there. Love Adams products. Simply the best and my distributor here in Canada Glen Yates the best detailer I know.

It's one of my favorite products.  Won't use anything else now.  It just makes the paint explode with wetness, deepness, and shine. And it lasts.   It's a great drying aid.

I would take any of his so called torture tests with a grain of salt.  It is such a narrow window in a products true performance.  Mother Nature is the true test.  Also he has a habit of not reading or researching the products.  Remember he is getting a paycheck from youtube just for the views he gets along with the free products he gets.

I personally don't agree with those types of tests. A person that has the sense to use a product like Graphene Spray would not let any type of chemical be applied to the paint. Yeah sure, accidents can happen but it reminds me of the old "light the spray paint on fire and then wipe it with acid" tests from the old TV infomercials. Jimbo's tests are a great way to figure out what to use to strip off the remainder of a coating, sealant, or wax.

I prefer a more real-world test like Scott H (YouTube).

Having said that, I have yet to try ANY type of coating. I still have lots of wax and sealants to use up! 😄

I agree that I only apply one coat for the Graphene Ceramic Coating. For the non-graphene coatings like UV Paint and UV Wheel Coating, if you do want to apply a second coat, our chemist recommends applying 1-2 hours after finishing the first coat. You could try this with the Graphene Ceramic Coating, but the second coat may not bond as well to itself. I plan to try this soon on a few rear panels on my car that are in need of being compounded, polished, and re-coated since it's been 2 or 3 years now and 30-40k miles of driving in every weather condition in that time frame!

One layer is sufficient, use the UV light to ensure you get full, even coverage. With coatings, the law of diminishing returns applies, so adding 2+ layers doesn't equate to 2x+ protection. Do proper prep, maintain regularly, and you'll get the best, longest lasting results.

I agree with the guz,  no one washes their vehicle repeatedly with crazy heavy duty degreasers.

There are a few great youtubers out there, I’m not here to promote anyone, but they do more real world testing, with regular soaps, or true longevity tests.  These guys i trust and they are showing more real world scenarios,  plus i like testing, and I play with different things myself, as do most of us.

For example...On the previous version of Adams spray coating, it came out Black Friday 2019, so not the graphene, It has been on my daily driven 2001 Silverado for 8 months.  I have washed the truck twice per month, 1 bucket, Adam’s blue car shampoo, 10” wash pad, dried with the ultra plush drying towel, no toppers, no boost, no details spray...nothing.  And the coating (spray) is still beading like day 1, well day like 14, since I didn’t put water on it for a couple weeks.   It lives outside 24/7,  drives 50/50 country roads and high speed highways outside of Washington DC.

Now, it was prepped, Clayed, 2 step compound and polish, prep spray, 1 layer of coating, 24hrs later, ceramic boost.  But that is all.

As far as the graphene coating,  I’ve been using it since it came out and its still holding up on another vehIcle just fine,  but its only been 3-4 months I think, and its doing great!

Machine polishing is strongly recommended however if your paint is in good shape it can be skipped. What can't be skipped is claying and doing a prep wipe down before applying  our Coatings.

If you have a polisher, you really want your paint to be as perfect as possible and that's the best way to get it prepped before applying any ceramic or graphene product.  If you don't have a polisher, then you'll want to hand polish to remove light swirls and scratches before applying the coatings.  Be sure to wipe your ride down with the prep as the last step BEFORE you apply the ceramic or graphene on.

Hi Daniel, I'm in agreement with you that CS3 is a kick tail product and I absolutely love it.  I was really amazed when I paired the Graphene Spray coating with CS3 and turns it into CS3 on Steroids.  I also absolutely love the Graphene Detail Spray on coated and non-coated vehicles.   Not every vehicle I touch ends up with Graphene Spray Coating, it is really up to the person on whether or not they want that or something else.  However, my personal vehicles will all be Graphene Spray Coated within the year along with my kids and their spouses.  This is a choice for the daily drivers and garage queens.

Whenever I find my next toy, that may not end get coated and may end up with Patriots wax on it.  It is all according to what I find with a leading contender being a '72 Stingray that has sat outside, uncovered for over 10 years.  I would love to bring it back to life and while not up to the standards of '71 Mach 1, it would make a nice play toy.  The sports car that my son-in-law is building may not may not end up being coated, that is up to him once it is completed.   The only we know for certain it that we'll have Adam's products on all of them.

I've had nothing but success using them. Easy to use, forgiving, and the shine and results are truly incredible. I also see and and hear pretty consistent positive feedback, both here, other online venues, and in store from customers.

The most common negative feedback I've seen is it's a scam/not pure Graphene (Adam's has been very up front and honest in videos, articles and posts about the science and chemistry, never claiming it's pure graphene), and it doesn't last (which is usually because people don't do proper prep and/or maintenance). I've also seen some complaints about white streaks on trim, which is an admitted error in instructions and has already been brought to the team's attention.

Have you tried it yet? If not, I suggest you do and judge for yourself. After all, Adam's offers a 110% guarantee, so nothing to lose and everything to gain!

This was not intentional is and was accidental. The team is aware of what happened. They recently completed year-end inventory at headquarters, so that is my best guess as to how this machine was placed into the wrong area.

These polishers are meant for display at our locations and show events like SEMA. The clear plastic will crack easily, and can melt if used.

Thank you Jonathan for your honesty in returning this. The team will make it right with you.

It’s not often that Adams Polishes makes a mistake, but here is a fun one. I bought the SK Pro 12mm today and when I got home I was in for a surprise! (I am going back to HQ to undo this mistake, but boy would this have looked good with my other limited editions!)

Welcome to the Forum Michelle.  It sure looks like you learned a lot of the video's and forum, the Palisade looks great.  I like the wheels you got and if you haven't already picked up the Wheel and Tire Cleaner, I'll recommend adding it to your next order.   Also, if you take a look at some of the pictures that Rich recently posted of his Equinox or that I posted of my Daughters Jag, the Graphene Detail Spray puts an unbelievable shine on Black vehicles.

Hello! I'm a complete noob to auto detailing, but recently bought a new car. Since I don't have a garage, I started researching how to keep it looking beautiful in the colorado sun and snow. I had no idea how complex the topic is! I could have a full-time job with the hours I've spent watching videos, reading blogs, etc. Thanks to everyone on this forum - it's been so valuable delving into your posts on products and techniques. Ironically, one of my first jobs was being a Lot Attendant at a local Acura dealership, so I've washed plenty of cars, but was doing it all wrong, elbow-deep in chamois! Here's my first wash with Adam's products. I will definitely be seeking your advice and expertise moving forward!

One thing I failed to mention, if there is contamination (like fine over spray) built up on the windshield or other glass, the Brilliant Glaze may not always be strong enough (it usually is!) to remove the contamination, and this could be causing the linting. If the windshield surface has some contamination embedded into it, that can make your towels drag with some tension, which could be pulling the tiny lint fibers out of the towel. So if the surface still feels rough after using Brilliant Glaze, or if you notice that your wipers chatter, I would take some Glass Cleaner as a lubricant for the Medium Grade Clay Bar, and then clay the windshield (or other glass) to make it nice and smooth again 👍
