If I use Adam's pads I do not prime them, but if I use a Rupes pad (or a similar stiff pad) I do 'butter' them.  I also 'butter' the MF pads (see my method below).

I don't really think this is something you can complain about... They could be like other companies and just not have any sales. 15% off with Free Shipping is pretty good. Anymore these days, Free Shipping alone is a good deal.

You can't really compare a Flex 3401 to any other polishers because it's the only DA with Forced Rotation.

Well the Flex can correct faster but have a tougher time finishing because of the forced rotation.

So while you might correct faster you might not get the end results you want with a Flex.

I used to correct and polish with a flex but I finished with a PC. Since then I have downsized to just a Rupes.

Adam's Swirl Killer is more powerful than a PC and will get you faster correction than that but the Flex will correct faster because of the forced rotation. You will also be able to finish easier with a SK.

I built up my collection by first buying 16oz bottles and then slowly purchased every gallon as I needed them to refill the 16oz bottles.

The EZ-Fill Threaded Funnel is a very simple but awesome product at making sure you don't spill any product either!

Kingsford reacted to BRZN in Protecting new tires to be placed in storage
Here's how my spare wheels and tires are stored.

One set is filled with Nitrogen
Two other sets are filled with air from my filtered, dryer installed air compressor.
I want no moisture inside the tires and they're over filled to the tire manufacturer's max psi.

The tires are scrubbed clean; front, back and treads.
VRT is liberally applied to all exposed rubber.

Wheels are cleaned; face, and barrel.
Sealant is applied to the wheels.

They are stored stacked, in the basement where they are out of the light, temperature controlled and away from any ozone creating electronics, with cardboard in-between each wheel/tire.

I would stick with APC. It's a lot cheaper and you probably wouldn't see much difference. I don't think it would hurt by any means though.

Kingsford reacted to Dan@Adams in How cold is too cold?
Yep, what Dave said I've done machine polishing in my garage when it was 0 degrees F outside and about 45 F inside the garage, wasn't super fun and I wore a hoodie and tried to keep my hands warm, but I was able to do the job. Now I have a small space heater that brings the temperature up to a more bearable range

Kingsford got a reaction from LT1xL82 in Correction Polish "bonding" with paint and difficult to remove
I've never been a fan of the polishing over the top of other polish for a few reasons.... You can't see your progress and know if what you are doing is working but moving onto the next step. The dry polish on the paint seemed to clog pads faster. It also seemed to cause a lot more dusting than normal. Everyone has their own process.

Kingsford got a reaction from buffalobob920 in H2O GG after Wash and Wax timing
No the best option is Liquid Paint Sealant and using H2O GG to maintain that from a protection point of view. Wax doesn't tend to last very long and doesn't protect as well. IMO Wax is used to enhance and slightly protect paint as a topper. Heat will dissolve wax very fast. If you are looking for protection and just protection, Seal and Seal. If you want that little extra pop, Seal Seal, Wax.
