Rich reacted to mc2hill in Cleaning foam
I have been successful in cleaning foam pads and block with Tide Free & Gentle. I use a small container and fill with the Tide, put in the foam applicator, and let it sit for a few days. When I rinse it off the foam applicator is clean, and the Tide can be rinsed down the sink. This is the ONLY way I have found to get Paint Sealant out of pads.
A client uses this stuff to clean parts on his brass cars (he has even had large stainless steel boxes made for big parts!), and it makes a great hand cleaner too.

I assume if there is some dust on it, it is ok to use DS to clean it before applying BG.

Agreed. Hardly ever see anyone from Customer Service or from Adam's on here. Give them a call.

I've used nothing except RaggTopp on my 2013 vert, and it still looks brand new. I use the cleaner every other year, and treat (seal) it every year. A lot of guys here put Graphene or Ceramic on their tops and are happy with it. Either one works.

Side note to your question about treating the convertible top. You want to treat it before washing it, just to be safe. After it's sealed properly, then feel free to use any of Adam's soaps on it when you wash the car. Won't hurt a thing.

Rich got a reaction from Islander in Ceramic Spray Results
Can you rent or borrow a canopy and do it under that? Or maybe a neighbor or friend will let you borrow their garage for a day or two. Before you apply any ceramic product whether it's ceramic or graphene, you want to do a FULL prep. Wash, clay polish, prep wipe, and then apply the Ceramic or Graphene Spray. It will take a full day at least. But if you still want great shine you can use Graphene Detail Spray and get good results on a clean car.

While we do get reps from Adam's chiming in here from time to time this is really a user-to-user forum.
Your best bet is to contact customer service via voice or email. They should be able to help you.

Leather and Interior Cleaner, All Purpose Interior Cleaning Gel or Total Interior Cleaner would be great choices. For tools, use a Cockpit Brush to agitate, or a Drill Brush if serious scrubbing is needed, and Edgeless Utility Towel.

Good advice for those of us who don't use ceramic as the main protection and shine. Both of my show cars get Patriot/Brilliant Glaze but my 2 trucks which are outside 24/7 get ceramic soap and detail spray, Adams of course. Also try Slick and Slide. It's just like using ceramic products, if don't use ceramic as mentioned, as your main product.

For those of us who pay for our next year's reserved spots while we're there.........I talked with Jody at Carlisle and there will be NO increase for 2022. It will still be $150 for 2022. BUT she said they'll be setting the price for 2023 in November and there's a possiblity that the price will go up. But for one more year at least, we're holding steady at $150. For me.......well worth the cost.
