I'm just wondering if adding graphene to so many products is just a way for us to buy more of what we already know and love.

Mantis got a reaction from Zeus2018 in Adam’s competition to P&S Bead Maker yet?
    Ok good question.
Bead Maker is a spray sealant which in my opinion is a flawed product. It tends to streak, it is a huge dust magnet . I love the shine and slickness of that product but I don't like the smears and static charge it puts on your paint which in turns attracts dust like mad. Oh and it smells really good. We have been through the P&S line and  the line is good but I find holes in each product.

To get something to work like Bead maker, I'd say CS3 is a better all around product that is like Bead maker but different and better IMO. It think it holds up just as long , has damn near the same awesome shine BUT doesn't turn your car into a dust magnet. So I think CS3 for the win plus it's a waterless wash with protection. It's a more versatile product and I don't have any need for Bead maker. I had to run through a few bottles to see if it's legit or over hyped. It's slightly over hyped , but it does what the say it does they just leave out the streaks and dust.

    Hello everyone,
So I have been through a few gallons of CS3 , have a bottle of Graphene CS3 and Detail spray. All 3 I have been rotating back and forth on which one I'm gonna use when I maintenance wash my car. I'm Ceramic Spray Coated. Pitch Black Paint.
Anyway tonight I decided to break out old Reliable in pink detail spray the original. Man with all todays technology and advancement in spray detailers and waterless wash products , sometimes you just can't beat Pink Detail spray. It leave a different kind of shine, a different kind of drying agent feel , a different kind of clean up spray after you used it as a drying agent and used it for water drips after a good blow.
Man Adam's should NEVER stop making regular Pink Detail Spray, the smell, how good it is, how it feels on a spray coated car that well maintained and not daily driven, it's a garage queen most of the time.

Thank you Adam's Polishes and whoever made Detail spray from the start. We have wonderful new and exciting products in Ceramic and Graphene but sometimes you just need detail spray in your life.

    Thanks again,

I do understand the frustrating and confusion around all these products that seem to do all the same things. As I posted, CS3 is your best bet if you want 1 product that can do it all. CS3 is incredibly versatile, it can clean in-between washes , super light dust and super mild dirt as you don't want to scratch your paint. I'd rather do a full bucket wash rather than risk scratching even as good as CS3 is.

CS3 is incredible as a detail spray and all it's uses. Touch ups, drying aid I love it. I like trying all the other products except I have not got my hands on slick and slide. Honestly every time I make an order I think about it and don't get it as CS3 has no weakness. I also have the Graphene versions and the Graphene CS3 works the same as CS3 but has a better smell. It smells like Grape plums , it's really pleasant to work with. It really puts the gloss on your paint just as good and possibly better than CS3 does. But I have not done like 1/2 hood with both products which I might do just to see.

For the few dollars less, I'm totally happy with CS3 for the rest of my life. Graphene CS3 I only used a few times and as I have used it, I'm not overly impressed as CS3 is that good on it's own. it's smell is also pleasant so the Grape smell isn't enough to make me spend more money if it works the same otherwise. Time will tell I'm gonna run through a full 16 oz bottle of Graphene CS3 and then go back to CS3 and see if I miss it.

Mantis got a reaction from joeybsyc in Trim is grey and ashy after Graphene ceramic coating
I'm so sorry this happened to you. I hope Adam's Polishes makes this right. It's in their best interest as many of us are following this thread with open eyes and ears.
The Directions clearly stated as you applied the product.

On another note, I have applied spray Ceramic Coatings from other manufacturers and did not have this issue. I also didn't not level It or work it into the trim pieces. I use CS3 and Graphene Spray wax from Adams and use it on the trim all the time with excellent results. I want to move up to the Graphene spray coating but after reading this thread, I hesitate to pull the trigger.

You can't advertise a product that works on all exterior surfaces and then cause these kinds of issues. BUT there is still the possibility of user error and I wish you lived closer to Adam's Polishes so you could take the Vehicle there and have them look at it.

Adam's makes wonderful products and I have been using them for years. I just moved into Spray Ceramics a few years ago and I'm kinda afraid of the actual Coatings. I have seen so many people make a mess of their vehicles with them , not from Adams but from other brands.

Just saying here and not saying you didn't but prep is so important. If you don't prep properly , you will seal in bad stuff under a coating. Again not sayin that's what happened to you but I have seen it myself being a retired detailer.

This is my huge issue with coatings , they actually don't seem to protect against common things. Who cares if you got mad beading? I want protection. You watch all these videos on how the water runs off blah blah blah. I want to see a coating of any kind of paint protection PROTECT against bird droppings. This is the real issue out there and I think Adam's needs to setup there game and offer bird droppings protection .

     Lets make it happen

Mantis got a reaction from Captain Slow in CS3 vs Graphene CS3
CS3 is killer , I've said it many times, it's my favorite product for detailing . It's the one product I will always have around. But I washed my car Thursday night after work and what I noticed having Graphene CS3 already on the car from last week, the water beading was different in that the beads where tighter smaller and more round. That doesn't excite me at all as I hate water spots. But I also noticed when doing my wash, the soap separated more than usual. I would make a pass with the mitt and it would separate around the pass. Also when I rinsed the car after the wash, less water was left behind. Another thing I noticed yesterday morning when I went out into the garage, the car seemed to have a slight different gloss to it. Deeper and more gloss. Not night and day but enough for me to notice.

I have not had any streaking issues with Graphene CS3 but I have only used it twice now. Honestly I used it as a drying agent and a touch up. That's my usual as my car is Pitche black. If any water trails are anywhere, you can see them from the next county over. Kinda sucks but when it's on it looks incredible.

I was thinking the same thing. A coating even a Spray coating requires proper Paint Prep before it can bond correctly. if you coat your car in a Spray coating, you can maintain it with Graphene Detail spray or Graphene CS3. Both will work great after washes as drying agents and topers. Then in 6 months to a year or as needed, then you can reapply a Spray coating after a full paint prep.

So I enjoy Car Shampoo and have tried all the other offerings. I have Graphene Shampoo but have not used it yet. I was thinking about the wash and I think Adam's can improve here. Lets forget about adding protection to the wash or maybe leave a protection in a wash but I think Graphene might not be exactly where it needs to be yet.

Anyway , I wanna to offer a suggestion to up the game , make a car shampoo better than anything that has been made. Make it so when you use it, you're very proud to use it. It can cost more , that's fine. Anything in life worth using is going to cost more than others on the market that might not be of the same quality.

So currently my favorite is still Car Shampoo, it's simple no protection and it works but I don't delute it as heavy as suggested on the bottle , I use more to get the lube I prefer. I prefer not to mare my paint by using not enough product, I'm not interested in saving pennies and risking scratching my paint.

So Can you out due all the shampoos you have made? Car Shampoo is getting older and I think it's time to step up the game, not baby steps but a knock out of the part Car Shampoo with the best Lubes in it , the best quality materials to offer something better than anyone else is currently offering. Charge whatever you want for it but I can tell you, some of us Adam's fans if not all of us will want to see what you can come up with.

This is my suggestion box , my hope and challenge.

    Hello,
I'm puzzled by your results but I must ask just to be clear. You prepped the car with a clay bar etc but lets explain what you did.
Depending on how old the paint is, how well you prepped etc , the coating with either bond or not.

So Proper steps would be as follows.
1- Full wash, Iron Remover and than clay bar.
2 - Full dry and full paint prep meaning a full light to moderate compound depending on paint conditions.
3- Full Polish non silicon version.
4- Full prep wipe so you remove any oils left over from the prep.
5- Then you now can apply a coating.

You say your's was watery. They are watery. Did you shake the bottle before using? It is very possible you got a bad bottle but it is also possible you didn't follow procedure.

Coating are not for rookies even though these companies say they are. They even sell full ceramic coatings and most people make a mess out of it. I'm a retired Detailer and got out of the business before these coating existed. I was on Paint Sealant and waxes of all high end kinds. I'm still a hobbyist and find todays chemicals to be superior to most of what we used back in the day.

I would reach out to Adam's customer service and talk to them about your issue if this doesn't solve it or someone else helps you long the way.

    Hello all,
I have been slowly moving into this world of Ceramics and now Graphene. I have tried other brands for comparisons and have been slowly making my way through Adam's offerings. CS3 is my very favorite Adams product and once I'm out of it I'm gonna try the Graphene version

VRT is my favorite tire dressing overall. I love the Satin finish and it lasts a few weeks which is really nice. I currently been trying out Graphene Tire Dressing and I'm not finding it better then VRT but it seems to work very well.

Moving towards Graphene VRT, Can it actually be an overall better dressing than the original? I'm not thinking VRT needs any improvement. I like everything about it BUT if adding graphene to it does make it a better overall product , I'm very in.

I have VRT , Tire Shine and Graphene Tire Dressing. I actually like VRT and Tires Shine currently more then Graphene Tire dressing. They are all very good products and I'm not seeing the benefits of Graphene Tire dressing yet. We just got it several weeks ago and only applied it to 2 cars so far.  It's nice but if your looking to get into Adam's, I'd say Start at VRT. It's excellent goes on very nice satin finish and doesn't sling. You need to level it off after it sits awhile. This is a step most people don't do and get sling all over their cars with those oil based products. If you level off your tire dressing after allowing it to dry,  you won't get sling.

It seems like more and more people have some issues with the Graphene products on the market. I wonder if it was rushed out before deep testing. CS3 is a perfect product as it is, I don't really see the need to improve on it. But improving on a excellent product is intriguing and I'm gonna have to grab a single bottle of GCS3 to see if this is in fact an issue. I don't want CS3 to get messed up.

    Hi Daniel,
For the vehicles that I have Graphene applied to, I am all in on the Graphene products.  Graphene Detail Spray, Graphene Tire Dressing and Graphene CS3.   My regular CS3 is being used on the regular ceramic vehicles.

    Edit:
I almost forgot that I also use the Graphene Shampoo on the Graphene coated vehicles.
