Not true for all coatings. I am using a coating now due to my vehicles living outside 24/7. I can top it with a wax if I choose. I still get to enjoy detailing the car. Just requires a little less effort plus the paint looks amazing after a round of Detail Spray.

I agree with all of those statements Jason. I loved the old gray clay bar we offered, but too many customers had complaints about it sticking to their fingers too much. We tried to compromise a little with the big blue clay bar - it's no longer sticky, but it's not as effective either
 
We don't plan to offer different grades of clay just yet, as we strive to keep the detailing process as simple, effective, and uncomplicated as possible, but I can say we will have some really great news in the upcoming weeks!
 
I still cannot say too much, but we did just film a new video last week on our new clay technology that we will be offering soon   
 
I am definitely impressed with it on every vehicle I've used it on thus far!

I tend to agree Bruce. Maybe Dan or someone will see that suggestion.

We're actively working on a replacement for Quick Sealant, and I'm sure you know that when we reformulate or introduce a new product, it always has to perform better than an outgoing product

I've mentioned the idea of an app back when I started in October, and it would be really cool to push out notifications that way, but it's also one more thing (or rather 3 or more things if you consider Apple, Android, and Windows OS's, phones and tablets) that needs to be updated, monitored, and maintained to meet our quality expectations.
 
Yes it's 2016, technology has changed, and the convenience of an app is nice, but I'm not sure everyone realizes that Adam's is a very small company, and we're all already fully tasked with many responsibilities
 
Having said that, if we had a basic app with the Circle "A" logo that you could click on from your phone or tablet home screen that would bring up a simple interface that could redirect you to our website, adamsforums, facebook, or Instagram, and maybe have a "New Product" feed...would that be something that people would be interested in??? At least that would save the steps of opening up a brower and navigating to the page.

This may be your opinion, which is fine, but not the opinion of myself and many other professionals. I use clay alternatives (a clay block) 95% of the time and only use traditional clay when needed. The fine grade clay block I use removes just as many contaminates as my Adam's clay used to and does not mar the paint at all. As I've said in the past the only times I've seen marring are on super soft dark paints which traditional clay also marred. If you experienced a "ton of marring" from a *fine* grade clay alternative it was either due to a lack of lubrication, failure to "break-in" the clay block on glass prior to use or the fact that you have extremely soft paint. 
 
Using a clay alternative is not voodoo and is not rocket science, despite what many on this forum like to make it sound like.

I picked up a pretty sweet Dyson handheld that has been working super well!  The suction is crazy!

I just used the blue clay for the second time since I ordered it a few months ago. Hard as a rock and I could not mash it or anything. Truck I was washing I was having to remove some stain from a fence overspray. I was able to get some of it off with the clay, but it took me forever. Lucky enough I live a block away from a store and bought me a different clay bar. Thank goodness as I think I would still be finishing up the truck.

Amazingly effective and compact. It's also a perfect color temperature for paint inspection. I actually have a video planned to show proper paint inspection techniques bc more often than not people misuse the light they have.
 
That being said, I recommend 2 sources of light -
 
A broader area, like work lights on a stand (halogen or otherwise) for lighting whole panels during work.
 
A close area, like the penlight for up close inspection pre and post correction.

Yep. I don't think protection is the same either. Don't get me wrong I love HG&G but there are some things Quick Sealant does better.

I pull my cars out of the garage and look at the finish in sunlight. I use a Brinkman light that helps too. Or just have your wife look it over. She'll find all you misses.

I polished and sealed the truck for winter. By the way, has anyone noticed how similar in color Paint Correcting Polish and Leather Conditioner are? It would be real easy to confuse the two.....ask me how I know. By the way, Leather Conditioner finishes really nice. Lol.

I'm guessing the 4 bottle bag would hold 4 bottles... in the bag. 

We are here to provide awesome customer service and detailing advice, first rate products, packaged in awesome containers, that perform super duper well.  When we fail to do that, we make it right!  

I would just add some APC to the car shampoo if striping wax. Dawn tends to be hard on plastic.

Sounds good, and there's no need to wait overnight for your sealant to set up. You can buff it off with a double soft towel once it's dry. Comes off real easy.  I like to put a coat of Americana or Patriot on top of the sealant.  But it's up to you . The H20GG is hard to beat for shine. 

I get a lot of customers coming over from using other products and they think they want a spray wax. Brilliant Glaze and / or Detail Spray are our best products for that situation, and work outstanding. Sometimes it works, sometimes they go back to their old ways.
A few years ago I had a customer really bugging me for a spray wax, and telling me how great what he was using was working (a big local competitor) . Finally I went to look at his car, and we did a side by side.
His Mustang was a dark blue metallic, but was so scratched and swirlled it was just about a satin finish. It was terrible! But he used his spray wax and liked how slick it felt. He was convinced that was all there was to car care.
Oh well, you can't educate all the great unwashed.

+1. Love my Flex.

Dont leave out looking at a Flex 3401. I've got 2 PC's, and a Flex,and hands down for cutting power and way less vibration, nothing cuts like the Flex. Takes 7 inch pads and with a different backing plate, will take 4 and 5 in. pads too.

As for me, I broke out the brand new to me tire shine from Adams. Id get photos but I kinda did it in the dark, Actually wont get to see it until after I drive to work....

I don't think it's the same as Quick Sealant on wheels.

My wife made me add it to my opening order....now wants more.....
