sahls01gmc got a reaction from Junior in Visco Clay Bar, can't use it.
This is only 1/2 of the hood on my wife's Traverse!

Those impressions are from me, the ones straight out of the jar were not near as deep.  I found this clay to be extremely easy to work with.  What's interesting though is that the contaminants are all on the face of the clay, so I'm not sure what ends up inside the impressions.  But I suppose that it places more pressure on the panel because there is less surface area of the clay in contact with the panel.

    Bottom line, it works.....really well!

sahls01gmc got a reaction from RollTide1126 in Total Interior Detailer vs. Leather & Interior Cleaner
Leather & Interior Cleaner is for deep cleaning, and Total Interior Detailer is for "Maintenance" wipe downs.  The Detailer has a matte finish.   The Cleaner is typically followed up with the Leather Conditioner.

Yes it is.  They will hold well over 20oz of liquid without spilling onto the carpet.  Ask me how I know.....

Doorsill for me as well. I'm gonna detail those anyways, so might as well stand on them and not risk slipping on a ladder. It helps that I'm 6' 2'' as well.

    - You constantly watch the radar to check for rain when your daughter has an upcoming softball tournament.  Then when the schedule gets posted, you determine what time you need to get off work on Friday so you can completely detail the truck so it can get ruined within 5 feet of the gravel parking lot when you arrive.  And all this time my wife thought I was checking the radar for the games coming up......

    - You have been caught more than once in the middle of the night polishing/detailing something.  Although when she doesn't catch me she wakes up to something in the house being really clean!

    - You look at the Daily Special and think, "Eh, I've already got 2 of those right now.......but that would put my shopping cart into the Free Shipping category....."

I'd start with the white pad and polish, and light pressure.  If that isn't enough, try more pressure.  Then switch to the orange if that isn't enough.  Work in stages and test on a 2'x2' panel until you got it right!

My dog has a panic attack anytime the vacuum cleaner comes out.  I can only imagine what she would think if I tried to use that to dry her.  She's 12, and to this day has NEVER been attacked by the vacuum....not sure why she's so afraid of it.

Peanut butter.  Yes, it works.  Baby oil also works well.  You'll have to massage it into the gum and slowly pull it out.  Patience, patience, patience!
