Kingsford got a reaction from b_pappy in My coin wash just posted "no bucket washing please"
Exactly. They can ether have someone in a wash bay using a bucket or have all of the bays empty and be losing money.

Kingsford got a reaction from Jheeman in My coin wash just posted "no bucket washing please"
Pretty sure every coin op place posts that... If they want your business and there is no one else there or waiting in line, they'll be smart not to say anything to you.
Just go later in the day after the attendant leaves.

I used to go very early in the morning or late at night to do my bucket washing before we built the house.

Kingsford got a reaction from Greg from GA in Detailing Cart(s)
I really love my cart from Target. Can't go wrong for $30. (I paid $25, goes on sale frequently).

Kingsford got a reaction from Hamilton Detail in Best protection for wheels
Besides a coating, the Ceramic Boost and HGG would be a close comparison. I want to lean toward Boost lasting slightly longer.

Kingsford reacted to Dan@Adams in "Stained" Wheel...
Hi Vince, sorry about that stain! With a little bit of elbow grease (or a lot) and some Revive Hand Polish with a Blue Hex, you should be able to remove the stain without much trouble!
If that doesn't work, move up to orange Correcting Polish with an orange Hex Grip Applicator. Let us know if that works, thanks!

Kingsford got a reaction from vm1971 in "Stained" Wheel...
Water etching or hard water build up. Maybe try reapplying the wheel cleaner and properly removing it. If that doesn't work I would try polishing again, maybe by hand.

Kingsford got a reaction from tmevilsizor in Rupes vs Flex
I agree its very hard to finish with a Flex and get the results you are looking for mainly because its so powerful. When I had my Flex I always had to finish with a Porter Cable.

Kingsford reacted to tmevilsizor in Rupes vs Flex
As I tried to explain in my rambling, this machine (FLEX 3401) is built for power and not necessarily for finesse. Think of heavyweight vs lightweight boxers. IMO this machine is great for removing imperfections quickly. However, I wouldn't want to wear myself out using this machine for light polishing/finishing polishing type of work. This is where I assume the Rupes excels ahead of the Flex. You wouldn't bring a strongman contestant to a jump rope competition would you?!

I have a flex and boy is it a chore lol just got the sk 15mm and mini sk and I never took the flex out once. Sk was very easy to use

Kingsford got a reaction from Nathan in Rupes vs Flex
If the pad is not spinning it is because of how much weight you are applying to the Polisher. If you hold the Polisher and don't push down the pad should spin freely, if it does not spin freely when applying no weight there may be an issue with your Polisher. The Rupes is the better option if you are still learning.

This is how BG is. Shake it up before and during use. It is a very thin product.

Kingsford got a reaction from mathews31 in Pressurized spray bottle as a poor mans foam cannon?
A foam gun would be a poor mans cannon.
A foam cannon is nothing more than a high pressure foam gun. They both do the same thing but a foam cannon just looks cooler.
Sure the suds might stick better with a cannon to the paint but the whole purpose is to wash the vehicle and not stare at it covered in foam.
----End Rant----

3 of my 4 vehicles have removable inserts. I take that inside to the sink and have at it. Are you sure there aren't removable inserts?

Kingsford reacted to Beemer in Rinseless dilution help.
Just remember: This isn't high school Chemistry Lab. You don't have to get your ratio to the precise milliliter.
Put one ounce in a 16oz bottle and fill the rest with distilled water.

Kingsford got a reaction from LT1xL82 in Rinseless dilution help.
Dilution Ratios - Link to the sticky thread about dilutions.
For every 16oz of water you add 1oz of product.

Kingsford got a reaction from mc2hill in Which Towels to use?
Depends. Every towel has a different purpose. I find myself using Waffle Weaves the most since they have the most uses. Drying, waterless washing, glass, etc.
There is no best overall. A waffle weave is best at drying but plush is best at removing polishes and waxes.

Kingsford got a reaction from jakerodz7 in Apple Detail Spray Return
Apple scent is my favorite. It was my favorite when Waterless Wash was Apple scented (Not sure if it still is, I just use Rinseless now).
I'd buy a Gallon of it. Would probably last until next year when it comes back out.

Kingsford reacted to jakerodz7 in Apple Detail Spray Return
I know we are a little more than a couple of months away from the 4th of July sale, but I was hoping that the apple detail spray would have a victorious return, hopefully even in gallon size? I think it would be a great option for a group buy for those of us who really love it, the gallon size that is. I still have a couple of bottles left over from last year but I am running low and hope to restock.
Just food for though for you all at Adams Headquarters.
Thanks for reading!

Kingsford got a reaction from b_pappy in Brilliant Glaze Spray?
Brilliant Glaze used to be Brilliant Spray Glaze... It was changed for a reason to not be a spray, so I'd assume it won't work out the best.
