Wow...no one has posted in this thread since October?!?!!??!

I just picked up another roommate for the garage.  Ran across an uber clean 2005 GT that I literally couldn't walk away from.  It may end up being a car I flip, but couldn't pass it up.  I don't have the words to describe how clean and solid this car was for 18 years old and 105K miles.  It did need my touch on the paint.  It took a couple steps to get the paint "perfect", but I got it there.  It did need some detaling to the rest of the car and the engine, but detailing was literally all it needed.  Nothing cosmic.  The interior was soo good, almost didn't even need to touch it. I suck at before and after shots (I suck at photography anyways, but that's a separate thread).

This is your normal detailing products and steps finished up with the old orange Correction Polish on a white pad, the new Polish on a white pad, and finally the old white Finishing Polish on a black pad.  Topped with graphine ceramic spray coating (I've had better luck with the spray than the bottle).

I have a blue cloth top and have used nothing but RaggTopp on it.  My top is 12 years old. I use the kit with the cleaner and sealant.

I'm by no means a good photographer, but yeah...still loving the new rendition of Spray Wax.  Not too much is easier to use either.

Well, I owned a Monterey Red Metallic C6 Corvette for over 10 years and finally decided it was time to upgrade.  I picked up a 2015 Velocity Yellow loaded C7.  The car had been owned previously by someone that looked at it as just a way to get from point A to B.  So of course, it needed a full-on detail.  Really for the last step later today of applying the Graphene Ceramic Spray.  Here are a few pictures of my C6 and now the C7.
I started with a full wash with strip wax, followed by complete claying then correction polish followed by finish polish.

    Hello all

i, like some others, was confused what Hoseless wash was when it first was released. I visited the Anaheim Adam’s store and the guys there told me it is the replacement for the Adam’s Rinseless wash, that I liked form before. I ordered a bottle on the “buy one, get one” sale afterI visited the store.

used it on my Ford Mustamg, and was impressed by the slickness compared to the original rinseless. It really is a nice product. It cleans as well, if not better than the original. The slickness makes it easier to operate, especially when using a rinseless sponge. It’ flashes off nice also.

here is my review on video.

    Hi Al,
What I like for the true garage queens that rarely go out is the original Ceramic Paste Wax.  While it does not quite produce the visual appeal of Americana or Patriots, it still looks great and it will last a year on a true garage queen.   You can blow the dust off the car using your air cannon or even you compressor using a wide blower and that is the part the I like so much about the original Ceramic Paste Wax.

When you do take the car out and you want it to pop, just go over it with some Brillaint Glaze and it will shine and look outstanding.

I've had this container for close to 4 years and probably done 25 vehicles and have enough for another 50 or so or another 10 years worth.  If you dont have any see if someone will trade with you.  The liquid ceramic wax isn't the same as the original Ceramic Paste Wax and one important point, very little wax goes a long way.

I know that every tire has a personality. Not every cleaner nor every dressing works the same on every tire.  Rubber composition and such makes a difference. BUT…there is nothing on this tire but Tire & Rubber Cleaner.  Zero tire shine nor other product. I don’t think the picture captures it, but it’s amazing. Nothing else but T&RC, and it’s perfect.  No slinging, no grime sticking to it, the perfect sheen…I’m done.  No other product needed…thanks for applying.

Sooooo, against my better OCD (like most of us), I did half a car in the new spray wax and half in G&G.  I did this on a surface that had just been freshly WW'd, so it should have an even playing field.  Did it make a difference?  Absolutely.  Can I tell a difference between the two sides of the car?  Nope.  But I agree maybe color makes a difference.  Car has blue vinyl stripes, and maybe the G&G nudges ahead just a tad bit as far as depth on those stripes.  But on the white paint, indifferent so far.  Waiting to get the car out in multiple lighting conditions.

I'll add this...ease of use goes to spray wax by far.  G&G is not difficult and there's no streaking, but for all of us that use it, you know it's slimy.  Just gotta make darn sure you get it all buffed down.  Not the spray wax.  Spray wax is darn near almost as user friendly as your best detail spray flavour.

This might be slightly off topic, but I think ceramic coatings were created for longevity and not looks. We spend all our time babying our rides and waxing (or sealing) is part of that process. IMO, if you have a ceramic coated car, you are wasting time and money by trying to add to the look. This is one reason why I have not ventured into ceramic coating.

Put me in the "wax looks best" camp. 😁

@1stFST I use H2O G&G as part of my Hoseless/rinseless wash - I wash the panel, then spray G&G over the panel (I switched to a Tolco spray head, as it disburses better).  Then I wipe the G&G with a damp MF towel to spread it out evenly, and finally wipe with a drying towel.  I have dedicated towels for the damp wipe part, as it can be difficult to remove from the towel.

Detailed another coworker's truck this weekend. 2017 Ford F150. I wish I had some before pics because this thing was ROUGH! Had to strip wash it then hit it with Iron Remover and clay bar. Gave it another wash with Car Shampoo and Ultra Foam. Worked on the interior with Leather and Interior Cleaner and Leather Conditioner. Gave the outside one more wash before applying Liquid Ceramic Wax. This stuff is so easy to put on and take off! Not the best picture, but he was very pleased!

Answer from another long-time user of traditional Leather Conditioner is an emphatic NO, I don't.  IMO, moving from the original to a spray formula is an example of "fixing" something that wasn't broken.  I'm disappointed to see so much (unnecessary) tinkering with the product line since ownership changed.

Looks like the never-ending rename, relabel, repackage merry-go-round replaced Revive Hand Polish with "Adam's Hand Polish."  (Notably, its URL still includes "revive-fine-hand-car-polish.")  It shows as available in 12oz and 4oz bottles directly from Adam's site.

I suppose it makes me a dinosaur, but I miss the good old days of simple and stable product offerings that lasted more than the current sale.

    Hello everyone,
So I have been through a few gallons of CS3 , have a bottle of Graphene CS3 and Detail spray. All 3 I have been rotating back and forth on which one I'm gonna use when I maintenance wash my car. I'm Ceramic Spray Coated. Pitch Black Paint.
Anyway tonight I decided to break out old Reliable in pink detail spray the original. Man with all todays technology and advancement in spray detailers and waterless wash products , sometimes you just can't beat Pink Detail spray. It leave a different kind of shine, a different kind of drying agent feel , a different kind of clean up spray after you used it as a drying agent and used it for water drips after a good blow.
Man Adam's should NEVER stop making regular Pink Detail Spray, the smell, how good it is, how it feels on a spray coated car that well maintained and not daily driven, it's a garage queen most of the time.

Thank you Adam's Polishes and whoever made Detail spray from the start. We have wonderful new and exciting products in Ceramic and Graphene but sometimes you just need detail spray in your life.

    Thanks again,

    Dan
