Two other things I miss from when Adam was running things:
They only made enough products to meet customers' needs, and there was not any unnecessary flair nor multiple variations of products.
If something could be made in the USA, Adam had it made in the USA.

I miss the days when Adam's was focused on what made the company great - outstanding detailing products and exceptional customer service.

Recent emphasis seems to be on endless "flavors of the day," clothing, tchotchke, etc. 😢

With the beginning of covid etc going on back then, it probably got looked over, but like life, it goes on. I can remember the days when Adams sold ONLY American made products, Dylan was around, Sever Swirl Remover used to blow dust all over everything, etc etc. My how times change.

On aniline leather you really should be using Leatherique or something specific to aniline (open pore, not sealed) leathers with no urethane topcoat.

I would dilute the leather cleaner 3:1 as a start as well, its strong stuff.  Don't use brushes unless its a horsehair or boar's hair brush to scrub, if you can help it, just an MF towel to clean it.

Adams Leather Conditioner is a great product IMO and I use it on all my leather, but aniline is so rare so I'd say for the initial cleaning/conditioning, use a specific product for it, and then perhaps you can maintain it with just Adam's LC once a month.

It is not worth the risk of potential damage by using a high pressure unit.  Stay in the 1500-2000 psi range.

On that note, I was disappointed to see that those new flannel shirts are made in China.  There are great quality flannels made in the USA.  I think the "old Adams" would have teamed up with one of those companies.

More than a few tweeks ! I've been on this ride with them for a while and can remember the "Only made in the USA", Dylan, Severe Swirl Remover, company was sold, their own chemical company, etc etc. My how things change, but wouldn't and don't, use anybody else's detailing products. I promote the heck out of the company too. Love the ride and all the changes that come along with it.

Been a customer since 2005 and still love the products to this day. I am curious how much Adam is still involved in the company, if at all? It is still called Adam's Polishes, afterall, and without getting too nostalgic or political, supporting Adam is what always made supporting the brand so rewarding at the end of the day. I'm just wondering who we're still supporting these days.

    Thanks and happy detailing!

It may seem limited to one shipper in your particular case, but on much larger forums you can see that there are similar issues with all 3 U.S. shippers.  This has been ongoing for all of them since Covid-19 began.  Things are getting a little better, but it will take some time until everyone is back to work and logistics get easier for the shippers.

Which is one of the reasons I pay no attention to swag.  I'm here for the detailing products and long for the good old days when that's about all that was sold by Adam's.

I do not have any social media accounts either. And never will.
I have come to the realization that I am going to miss out on things. It was(is) frustrating but it is what the world has come to. It’s sad when you walk into store to make a purchase and the customer service person tells you to hold on while they take a phone call and answer questions. Or you walk into your coffee establishment to place an order and you have to wait while they make online orders. So frustrating. ….
But I digress. That’s why I love Adam’s though. I have heard stories of customers walking into the store and they bend over backwards for them. And they continue that with the online orders also.

With Recochem acquiring Adam's Polishes and our blending company last year, as well as the recently announced POR-15 partnership, this provides exciting new technologies to not only expand the brand, but to develop and offer new technologies and products, and grow the international audience too since Recochem is a worldwide company. I have not discussed this with anyone yet, but I suspect that we may eventually have category tabs on the website for partner products. They're under New Products right now because they're new, and that is typically the most browsed section of the website.

Rest assured, as you said, we always strive to offer the best car care products out there. Even just last night, our chemist showed me some very cool things he is working on, but I can't discuss that quite yet!

Wont be changing my car care product line either. Best products I have ever used. It is just odd to have the two products so different, and IMHO, not relative to each other on the Adams website. Looking at the Recochem Co., I can see where this will lead to. Being a chemical company, it will lead Adams into different products like washer fluid, etc etc, expanding the Adams brand name. Understandable. Just want the Adams brand to stick to being the best car care product out there, not having Adam around has definitely changed things as can been seen in the diversity and expansion of products. That being said, please put your chemical scientist in a room and come out with a awesome chrome cleaner please !

I agree, Jimmy!  I'm a big fan of Adam's and the detailing products for which he and his company are known - have been for many years.  Understand the desire to grow, but not when it comes with diversification into (largely) unrelated areas/products.  (I get that detailing products and lubricants are both used on/in motor vehicles, but...)  IMO, this results in brand dilution.  There was a time when I proudly used nearly every product Adam's sold, but those days are long gone.  I can't keep-up with the constant flow of new/different stuff, especially when it's not for detailing.  I'm loyal to Adam's for my detailing needs and I like having autographed Adam's sign in my Man Cave, but I'm comfortable with Amsoil for my automotive lubrication needs. 🍻

I was wondering where the idea to carry oil, tranny fluid, came from, or more important, why? Being a huge fan of Adams products for many many years now, why this direction for the company. I know everyone needs to diversify. I remember when Adams hangers, socks, mugs etc came out, but was wondering when the Adams Shaving Kit, tooth brush and tooth paste set, office supplies, microwave oven, will be coming out ? I prefer a 16 oz bottle of convertible top cleaner, chrome polish or other detailing products that you don't have which I have to buy elsewhere, to oil for my car. I prefer Amasoil if it matters. This is by NO means meant to take anything away from Adams other awesome products, nor am I going to switch brands, but please stick with the products that got you guys where you are today, and focus on NEW DETAILING products you don't have out now and or things that make my car stay at its best for detailing, I don't need another flannel or beanie. Love Adams products, best customer service ever, nothing is going to change my mind about your detailing products, but.
FYI, if you come out with a shaving kit, I'll take one LOL !!

I'm glad to see it up and running again.  Personally, I think you should have gotten a 5 year cert instead of a 1 year (so you don't run into this issue again a year from now), but I'm glad nonetheless.
