    Welcome!

You're asking all the right questions and we're definitely excited to have you here! The only thing I would say is to start breaking them down into the other applicable forum areas to make sure they get the most exposure. The welcome messages aren't usually the best place to continue extended discussions...

Ceramic Boost is water-based, and moisture doesn't mix well with coatings that are curing. Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating, however, is solvent based (as is the traditional form) so no issues with layering it soon after (despite that it's not necessary).

Note, you should wait 5-7 days with either the traditional or Spray versions before washing them.

    P.S. Welcome to our forums!

You'll want to remove the Graphene Ceramic Spray Coating first using a machine polisher, then prep and reapply the traditional coating. Doing otherwise won't allow the coating to fully bond.

You could always try out the Leather and Vinyl Coating, if in doubt

Brilliant Glaze is definitely a short-term, but high shine option. It'll last you maybe a few days, less if you go through a rainstorm. Add it on top of or below your wax, either way is just fine. By the way, it's also a really good glass cleaner!

Brand new CRV EXL with Adams leather conditioner. What a difference!
My friends wife was so happy. Dealerships prep depts. are horrible. This was supposedly already treated/protected.

falcaineer reacted to QuickSilver20 in detail spray and H2O guard and gloss
While both products add gloss they are meant for different purposes.

detail spray can be used after a wash as a drying aid or to remove light dust or fingerprints after sitting in the garage to give it a touch up.  Since detail spray does have polymer/wax in it using it can prolong the life of your wax/sealant.

guard and gloss is more like spray wax in the sense that it should be used on a clean surface to add protection. It can be used as a stand alone product but it seems like a lot of people use it over paint sealant to maintain the protection. From what I’ve read on here it can last a few months so no need to apply every wash and the general consensus around here seems to be to apply every 3-4 washes.

With that said Guard and gloss is water activated so you can use it as you dry the car.  So when used no reason to use detail spray too. But you can use detail spray for the washes that you don’t use the guard and gloss.

Just a little update on this and detailing in general. I've been pretty active on the Adam's Community page on facebook but not quite so active here (I'm always on facebook anyway LOL). I did end up buying a swirl killer mini, and then I also picked up a swirl killer 15mm at the tent sale. I've been working on my experience with these and did my first full blown graphene ceramic project a few weeks ago (a massive silver f-350 that luckily the owner was quite forgiving of the time it took me as well as some of the flaws... he mainly uses it as a hunting truck). I'm planning on doing the graphene ceramic coating on the mini next, and so I'll be doing a full polish anyway. I got it a LOT better with some of the recommendations posted here (scratch and swirl remover, hand polish) but there's still a bit there... and also a number of scratches in the hood that I think I'll be able to get out with polishing. Also have noticed water spots on the flatter part of the trunk which I plan on dealing with before I coat it as well. It's been a fun experience, I'm getting better!

Items used: Adams Shampoo, Adams Tire and wheel cleaner. Dried with my Adams air cannon dryer.  Used My Flex XC3401, Adams clay bar, Adams Swirl remover and polish. Adams Graphene Ceramic.

I was on staycation last week, so Monday the SS got an Adam’s Rinseless Wash with Ceramic Boost as a drying aid. Wheels and tires cleaned with Adam’s Wheel & Tire Cleaner then gently rinsed. Wheels got Ceramic Boost and tires another coat of Tire Armor. She sat in the garage until Sunday when she took the family to church. Pic is from Monday at the office.

Yes, I have a reserved parking spot. It only took me 36 years to get one! 😁
