I watched an Adams YouTube video that other day that mentioned not to use the Graphene Detail Spray as a drying agent because it's too "streaky".

Would have been nice to save a couple hundred dollars instead of buying all new and just continue on using the "old" adams 😒

I don't believe your thread will get enough attention. But this seems to be the sentiment amongst most people using the new stuff. BRING BACK THE OLD!!! I'm on the last couple of bottles as well and after reading some of the reviews, I may look elsewhere to replace these. Not sure why they took a step backwards.

I’ve been trying the same as you to find something. Nothing gives the pop on the ceramic coating that I’ve seen yet.
Brilliant Glaze does give a pop, but it’s supposed to remove and wear down the coating with its solvents.

I’ve always used the graphene tire shine; but now I’ve tried the graphene shampoo, graphene cs3 and I plan to pickup some graphene detail spray.

there is ceramic products, but I haven’t tried them. While I haven’t compared them, I’d probably recommend trying the Graphene detail spray. The cs3 is kinda streaky compared to regular cs3.

I’ll let you know when I try the graphene detail spray to compare to the regular pink spray.

I've been here long enough that I know what lines can be crossed.  As long as it's within the forum rules it is fine.  But if you are looking for information regarding other products other than Adams then this is not the place for that.  This is an Adams forums for Adams products.

We all must respect that.  Me not believing in a product has nothing to do with violating the rules.  As you can see I didn't post any links or said another products name.

clg82 reacted to Chris@Adams in Will Wheel Cleaner Strip Your Wheel?
This question as been coming up a lot lately.....Will WC strip your PS or whatever protection you may have.
So I thought I would do a little testing tonight.
First I applied a coat of PS.

Then I spayed the wheel down with WC, let it work  for 15 min. or so then agitated with the Wheel Brush.
I didn't expect a lot of purple action because the wheels were pretty clean, however that wasn't the purpose of this test because we all know how well the WC works.

After brushing I rinsed  the WC off.
You can see the water beading in the before WC pic.

And you can see in this pic is after cleaned with Wheel Cleaner.
The PS may have been stripped slightly but as you can see the wheel still beads up.

I agree once your wheels are clean and sealed with PS & H2O G&G, regular washings with Shampoo, WW or for light dusting DS is all you need to maintain you wheels. Then depending how offten you drive your car you my need WC maybe 3 or 4 times a year.

I routinely use Car Shampoo to wash wheels if they do not have heavy brake dust buildup; however, I do this as part of a 3 Bucket Wash, with a separate bucket specifically for wheels and wheel brushes, so that I'm never introducing any brake dust particles into my 2 regular Soap and Rinse Buckets. For me, Deep Wheel Cleaner or our new Wheel Cleaner gets used when the wheels have considerable amounts of brake dust and other dirt.

Paint Sealant and H2O Guard & Gloss can both be applied to chrome wheels. The cleaner the wheel surface is prepped first, the easier it will be to apply and remove.

You could really light the gamblers up by giving more jackpots and also equalizing that with a few WHAMMY boxes where you aren't guaranteed a certain dollar amount.

That would surely be a fun Mystery Box round lol

It does not mean they are not dirty, just not much metallic brake dust to get the color to activate.

Many use Car Wash Shampoo in a spray bottle for not too dirty wheels.  I added a foaming sprayer to my bottle, and take a cupful or so of my wash solution and add it to my 'wheel spray' bottle each wash.  We don't have any Euro cars in our house, so this is about all I need to keep the wheels clean.

An older pic when Adam's offered 36 oz. bottle and a foaming sprayer:

With a good wash technique you shouldn't need to worry about it. If you are going to insist on a daily driver being perfect and it is black, well, I think I can refer you to a mental health provider!

No that is not true either.

Soap is there to act a lubricant between the wash media.  Suds do nothing for you.

The fact that a 2 bucket wash is being done is the correct way to wash.

Heck I only use one bucket when I use a foam gun.  Am I doing it wrong?  No indeed.  The added soap from the gun is adding more lubricity between my wash media and the paint allowing the wash media to glide effortlessly.

If you want to add fun to your wash get a foam gun or foam cannon.

Here's another example.  I was sent another manufacturers shampoo for review and it is intended to not sud.  Does that mean it is not doing anything?  On the other hand it is doing what it should be and that is clean the surface as well as being easier to wash off the paint without leaving any sort of soap film residue.  It had the lubricity to not harm the paint.  It was odd not seeing suds on the paint because we are all obsessed with suds.

Here in the states we are love our suds because it makes us feel all warm and tingly inside.  Overseas the shampoo's used do not form suds.

No it is not.  The purpose of the foam gun is to add a coat of soap to act as lubrication between your wash media.  The foam cannon has no benefit other than the fun factor and coolness factor to catch the eye of passers by.  It would be recommended to initially rinse all dirt from the surface using either tool.

That is a good way to put it. It's the the fact of pushing water around and the solution(not suds) is very unappealing for the fact I feel it's harming the car. But if it neutralizes the hard water marks in sacrifice of lack of suds, I guess that's best.

Which brings me to another point. Just drove from Chicago area to IndiAnnapolis. Car is full of bugs, and the fact I didn't bring any adams kills me, because naturally I want to take it to a self wash to wash the car, but the chemicals I feel in the self wash will ruin and protection the car has. This kills me haha

To me the suds in the bucket weren't all that great. The suds I get in my bucket are thick enough that when I drop the mitt back in I don't see any water.
