sahls01gmc got a reaction from LT1xL82 in Maintenance Wash Feedback
Have you tried to sheet rinse your vehicle prior to drying? On my Traverse, I barely need 1/2 of a drying towel to completely dry all of it when I sheet rinse. That would help save your laundry load!

That's awesome! Make sure you say hi to the wife and kids before you disappear in the garage for a few days.

"Sheet rinsing" has made a huge difference in drying my vehicles. 1 towel will do my Traverse no problem.

sahls01gmc got a reaction from CLEANCARHAPPYDRIVER in Detail spray bad?
My 4 year old just found out the hard way why it's a bad idea to baptise the cat.

sahls01gmc got a reaction from Norton in use to be a fan of H2O GG
I was always curious of this happening. But something tells me that the chemicals used to wash them would revert them back to the normal state. All of my towels still work just fine.
Interested to hear what others have to say.

So you're saying that anyone that's on the fence about purchasing should go ahead and take the plunge?!?

sahls01gmc reacted to rha600 in Stop blurring out your plates after the photoshoot!
I never understood why people did that in the first place. I mean do they not realize they drive past thousands of people every day who actually see their plates? And chances are they probably pissed one of THOSE people off far more than anyone on the internet...so why bother?

sahls01gmc got a reaction from falcaineer in Glass sealant of the inside of windshield?
Put a couple of bath towels across the dash before you clay it. Then all the overspray will land on the towel....not on the leather dash.

sahls01gmc got a reaction from PostalTwo in Minimum Panel size for a Rupes 15
If you get the Cyclo, you can switch your PC over to 4" pads. Then you only have to worry about buying 1 set of pads since they work for both machines. And you'll have a machine to do big areas, and your current one can now do detailed areas. You already know how to use your PC, so you'll only have to learn on 1 new one!

Thanks PT3! I'll have to check them out.

sahls01gmc got a reaction from PT3 in Single softs available in Bath Towel size?
Has anyone been able to find the Single Soft (or better) towels in a Bath Towel size?
My wife is getting quite jealous that the vehicles have better towels than the humans......

I appreciate the BUMP. I would like to keep this post active. Maybe if we can get enough men and women on board, we might receive! I am really crossing my finger (and toes) hoping for a coating! I would hope a minimum of 12 months, but would like to see 18-24 month coating!

That's a decent start! Hahaha. Those items will pay for themselves in less time that you think.
You should detail your truck, then go show your "detailer" what a real detail looks like!

sahls01gmc got a reaction from BRZN in Wash & Wax Hard at Work
Looks like it works very well since you don't pamper the company car as much as your own. I've pondered this for my company truck.....and I think you have just sealed the deal for me!

sahls01gmc got a reaction from jakerodz7 in Imperfect Beading = need better protection?
Nothing bad will happen between now and next Wednesday. No sense in "wasting" product just to get pretty beads. Just wait until you have the proper time, and then do it right. "Work smarter, not harder."

Go to store where originally purchased, and purchase a new one. I don't think that smell will come out.....anytime soon at least.

How much do you haul with your truck? My 2014 dually has a few "imperfections" from running down the highway.
Your approach isn't too harsh, in fact you might want to get a microfiber pad for even more cut!

AMP Research steps. Worth every penny. You don't have to see them, and she gets to use them. Win/win.
