Nice!
But where are the exhaust clips of this bad boy?

egott_91 got a reaction from Chase@InsanePaint in Microfiber Pad issue with Rupes?
I've also noticed that the backing plate on the Rupes doesn't allow the Velcro to separate as easily. Therefore you find yourself grabbing the side if the pad and pulling from there causing the glue to separate from the foam and Velcro. I've noticed this with both the microfiber and foam pads on the Rupes.

egott_91 got a reaction from Redbeard in Total Interior Detailer question on new car
If you use Adam's Leather Conditioner, it's not greasy or oily.
I personally would use leather conditioner on the seats and the total interior detailer on the doors and dash.

Changing emblem colors is modding like crazy? Different world when you get a porsche I guess lol.
Didn't you have a TT GT500? Come back to this thread with some real mods.

PS4 that I bought for my son will soon be played by me!!! Haha.

egott_91 reacted to Chewy in Whats on your wish list this year?
The best gift giving is the two families we "adopt" at Christmas and buy gifts for. We do that at our executive headquarters and then at another store location, so 4 families in all.
I can't imagine waking up as a kid and not having presents under the tree. I was VERY fortunate and still am, so I try to help where I can.
(not trying to toot my horn here) Just saying... Giving is ALWAYS better than receiving!

Didn't ask for much, don't expect much. Ha. Maybe I should've asked for the flex so I could have a PC, Cyclo, Rupes and Flex. Lol.

Not a fan of the metallic in their black paint. WAY too much metallic fort taste with black.

I'm CDO. That's OCD in alphabetical order. The way it's supposed to be.

egott_91 got a reaction from TheBurninator in Is Patriot gone?
Has there been any discussion as to whether or not there will be Patriot offered in a non-limited container after the 250 are sold?

And on the flip side of that, how many people have watched the Fast and Furious movies and haven't been involved in street racing because they're responsible people and can distinguish between fiction and reality?

Man I hate peanuts too. When I bought my exhaust the mufflers were packed in peanuts. Got out what I could but the first start up was like a confetti shotgun of peanuts out the back.

egott_91 got a reaction from Chase@InsanePaint in So...There's a New Rinseless Wash and Paint Sealant Coming
Well, since it is liquid, if it's anything like BG in terms of application and removal that would be absolutely awesome.

egott_91 got a reaction from THE Mook in need some help with quick sealant
I always apply to the applicator then spread. I never use the "fogging" method.
Like Chris, I find the best results to be buffing the product off right after applying. Otherwise, it can be a PITA to try and buff away. If you do wait a little while too long, you can always use WW to aid in the removal.

egott_91 got a reaction from THE Mook in Correct order of products
Order is correct.
I believe anything that is adhesive needs a completely bare surface to bond to. Therefore, you might just want to save product by not sealing, glazing, and/or waxing the parts that will have the clear bra put on.

egott_91 got a reaction from Chase@InsanePaint in Machine super sealant
After applying MSS, wait 30 minutes, wipe product off. It requires that you let it cure after that for 12-24 due to the possibility of residual hazing from uneven spots.
Sounds like you need to look into QS. Or, you could offer the client a complimentary wash the next weekend and apply the buttery wax then.

egott_91 got a reaction from BMWguy206 in Adam's Buttery Wax - NEW FORMULA
Depends on what you're looking for. If you want the longest lasting protection, QS or MSS. If you want shine Buttery, Americana, or Patriot (in that order from least shine to most shine).
If you want both, long protection and shine, go with a sealant topped with a wax.
On my DD I go with QS topped with Americana.
If you prefer liquid waxes, go with Buttery, especially if you'll be waxing outside in the sun. If you want a little more depth and longevity, go with Americana (or Patriot, but I couldn't justify using that on a DD)
