Tracy I can't speak for Z but I can speak for Adam's....I used to be a M user once I tried Adam's products I never looked back. Great products great customer service  USA made etc....I have a black 05 GTO and in 2010 Gm Nationals I won Best of Show out of 100 all years GTO's....and it's black and you know black don't lie. So if you want the best for your GTO you want Adam's......and BTW if you have a question about your products you can email or pm or even call and Adam himself just might be the one answering you. I don't think that would happen anywhere else.

Glad I read this thread, got a gallon of waterless wash in a mystery box and plan to clay my car soon. This info was a nice tidbit for when I start to clay the car.

The PC is as tame as a kitten!  Just watch the videos, get the correct products and pads, and do a small 2x2 area.

Keep in mind, this isn't a quick process!  It takes time to achieve perfection.

I have two GWDT's and would estimate that I use each of them 12-15 times a year (alternate each wash). In my experience, with proper care and storage they typically last about two years before they start to feel "grabby" and are demoted to door jamb and other duties. I wash them after each use, by hand, warm water and Revitalizer. Sometimes I add a drop of Woolite if they picked up dirt or have DS stains. Never had issues with scratching, and my G8's clear is basically made out of candle wax.

Just to take this discussion a bit further, you also want to be minful of what kind of car you are foaming.  My general rule works like this: For modern, daily driver type cars I have no reservations using the power washer/cannon combo:

For high-end & exotic vehicles that do not have a reputation for being leaky or rust prone, I dial it back a bit and use a hose/foam gun combo:

For classics, kits, and other rust prone vehicles, forgo foam altogether and always use a waterless or rinseless wash to avoid any complications:

Very nice job on the new 2015 F150. Going after the big front end look like the Ford SuperDuty pickup, no rust and lighter in weight than anything out there, 3 engine choices, a snowplow package available on a half ton truck, retractable ramps for getting your atv, etc. in the back. 36 years in a row with the # 1 truck, make this one #37 in a row. Nice job Ford!!

I wouldn't use anything scented unless I KNEW it wouldn't be harmful to my paint.

Yes, if you intend to do a LOT of IPA wipedowns.  Keep in mind, you'll mix the IPA and water in a spray bottle that's used to apply it to the car.  Once mixed, you spray/mist it on like DS and wipe it off with a quality microfiber towel.  (I still have over half the bottle I bought last year, after using it to fully correct all three of our vehicles.)

My wife has a 2013 Tuxedo black Focus and the paint and clearcoat on the car is pretty hard, as with most american cars. You can use either microfiber or your foam pads to get great results. That paint should really "pop" because of the black paint and the amount of metalflake in the paint.Ford does a great job with thier recent new paint colors they have and tuxedo black is one of my favorites. Here are a couple of pics of my wifes Focus after I used Machine Sealant, Brilliant Glaze, and then waxed with Americana. The shine on the hood is from my neighbors trees next door, over 75 feet away!! Good luck!!

Just bought one myself after procrastinating for months. HOLY SMOKES is this thing powerfull !!! All the little crevises, marker lights, all those little nooks and crannies, blows water right out of those little spots. Used a backpack blower forever, and now I wonder how I did it all those years. The flexible hose and the power with the heat makes all the difference compared to the backpack blower. It literally completly dries off tires in 30 seconds!! Huge time saver and it eliminates those water drips that always seem to appear when you start polising, no matter how many hours you wait and you think the drips are gone. Like aboves post mentions, if you can afford it,get it !!!!!

As an owner of 6 Mustangs over the years and guy that bleeds Ford blue, I love the new design. It is a mixture of some Europian flare and a definite tribute to the Mustang cues that has been around since 1964. Aluminum fenders, rear diffuser, tri bar rear tail lights just like the 64's, aluminum toggle switches in the interior, etc. etc. A 5.0 motor that will produce 440 hp is the word, and a 4 cyl Ecoboost that produces over 300 hp and almost 30 mpg's, for under $30,000.Take a look at some of the youtube videos that have popped up since yesterday and look at some of the design features etc. and then make a judgment. And in person, I am sure it will look even better. I was not a big fan of the new Vettes rear until I saw it at a car show, nice design. Come on all you GM guys out there, wheres the love??!! Oh ya, made in America with no bailout money needed.

07stanggt got a reaction from BMWguy206 in I dropped the "Adam Bomb"... on my F150
After contemplating if I should do a full paint correction on my 2002 F150, I decided what the heck, I have nothing better to do with 10 hours so I grabbed my waterless wash and went to town. After blowing off Xmass shopping, I locked myself in the garage and here are my results. My truck has never been machined before or had sealant applied in 12 years so I was interested to see how it would come out. I clayed it in late summer and hit it with Brillinat Glaze and then some Buttery wax so it would make it through the rest of the summer months, so it saved me a step on the clay bar this time around. I hit it with Severe Swirl remover (green) then Paint Correcting (orange) Brillint Glaze, and then Machine Super Sealant (gray).I tried the orange paint correcting but could not get all of scratches out so went with the green swirl remover and then back to the orange and it worked out great. Never has it looked this good before and the red paint REALLY pops even after 12 years in the New England weather. I use my truck to pull my 4 wheelers and my snowmobiles all during the winter so it will be interesting to see how the sealant hols up. Shine on !!!!
